Captain Chris Cox is serving his first term as Secretary-Treasurer of ACPA.
As Secretary-Treasurer, Captain Cox is the chief financial officer of the Association, responsible for its financial policy and affairs.
Prior to becoming Secretary-Treasurer, Captain Cox served on ACPA’s governing Master Executive Council as Vice-Chair from Toronto base. He has also served as a committee member and Editor of the Association’s internal publication, the ACPA Journal. He remains a member of the Pass Travel Committee and, as Secretary-Treasurer, is also Chair of the Audit/Investment Committee and a member of the Voting Certification, Benefit and Welfare Trust and Constitution committees.
Captain Cox is a resident of Halifax currently based in Toronto, flying Embraer aircraft. He joined Air Canada in 1999 and has previously flown the Airbus A320 and McDonnell Douglas DC-9. Prior to joining Air Canada, Captain Cox worked for Air Nova. He graduated with honours from Seneca College in Aviation and Flight Technology in 1992.
His term as Secretary-Treasurer ends December 2014.
