Welcome aboard the new ACPA.ca

TORONTO - The Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA) is happy to present its newly designed website. The new design features enhanced resources for the public — from details on ACPA’s position on critical advocacy work to profiles of pilot members.

“The public website has been designed to convey more clearly who ACPA is and what we do,” said ACPA CEO Milt Isaacs. “On behalf of our 3,300 members, our goal is to be a leader in advancing the profession and aviation safety, and to support our member pilots’ professional interests with all stakeholders. We believe our new website will help carry our messages to anyone interested in what our Association and our pilot members stand for.”

New features
  • The look and feel of the website is brand new. ACPA’s official colours — red and grey — are now complemented by a strong blue. The logo in the header and the information in the footer have been refreshed to align with current practices in web design.
  • Our pilots have a unique perspective. Many of the site’s photos were taken by ACPA member pilots, and we expect to feature more of their photography in the future.
  • The website was built using Responsive Web Design (RWD) practices so users can view it and use its features on the device of their choice — whether it is a desktop, a tablet or a smartphone.
  • A summary of ACPA’s position on key issues — flight and duty times, lasers and drones — can be found in the Advocacy section. Stay tuned as this section will expand as the Association continues to advocate on critical areas of aviation safety and more.
  • Because we often get questions from the public on what it’s like to be a pilot and what kind of training is involved, we’ve added a new section called Pilot Life. It features an overview on pilot training, what the job is like, and profiles of some ACPA members.
We encourage you to explore the website and let us know what you think. Send your comments or questions to feedback@acpa.ca. ACPA members can also use this email address to contribute their photos for consideration.

The Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA) is the largest professional pilot group in Canada, representing more than 3,300 pilots who fly millions of passengers across Canada and around the world on Air Canada and Air Canada rouge. Learn more at www.acpa.ca.
